Joni is the founder and main content author of this site. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and an M.Ed in Instruction and Learning with a minor in Curriculum Design and Development

Jason Greiner
Jason is our Media, Data, and Compliance Manager at Child Care Lounge. He earned his B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications with a Minor in English. He worked in various capacities at the Point Park University Children's school for 12 years while also helping to coordinate professional development training sessions for Project ECHO. Over the last few years, he has served as social media coordinator and digital services provider for local and national businesses and organizations. Jason also enjoys the creative ventures of photography and poetry.
Robin Fuller
Robin is a trainer/consultant for Child Care Lounge. She has been a director for more than 20 years. In addition, she has been a head start teacher and CDA instructor. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education/ Psychology,North Carolina Level 3 qualified Director/Administrator Credential, and a Masters in Early Childhood Leadership and Advocacy.
Beth Finucan
Beth is a trainer/consultant for Child Care Lounge. She started her work experience at Child Care Lounge as the Student Services Manager. After several years, she scaled back on work to spend more time with her children and volunteering. She has a B.S. in Child Development/Family Relations. Her previous work experience includes working as a preschool teacher, computer instructor, and administrative assistant. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband Joe, children Emma and Owen, one wild little dog and two cats.
Kimberly Lees
Kimberly is our Customer Service Specialist at the Childcare Lounge. She has an Associates Degree in Business Administration/Accounting. In 2022 she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Studies. She is a member of the NAEYC and has her CDA. Her previous work experience includes customer service/billing, payroll, daycare, and a Pre-K Counts Teaching Assistant. She is the mother of three, grandmother of one. She lives with her husband, daughter, and dogs Jilly & Joey. She enjoys walking, reading, long car rides, spending time with family, and going to musicals and dance shows.
Shelley Martin
Shelly is a Special Projects Assistant with Child Care Lounge. She helps us with IACET accreditation, state approvals and more! Shelley Martin has a B.S. Degree in Child Development from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been in the field for over 25 years, working with Infants and Toddlers as an Administrative Lead Teacher and Team Leader of the Infant and Toddler Group at her center. She has presented workshops at various conferences both locally and nationally. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with her family.
Cathy Abraham
Cathy has contributed some articles and resources to this site. She has also written the Learning Foundations Curriculum. She has a CDA, A.A. Early Childhood, A.S. Pre-Education, Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behavioral Sciences, and a Masters of Education.

Mattie M. Kendrick
Mattie M. Kendrick has a Bachelor's degree in Child Development from the University of Pittsburgh. Her 18 years of teaching in a NAEYC Accredited toddler and preschool and 6 years as a community and technical consultant in Pittsburgh area programs and agencies gives her a wealth of information and practical experiences. Ms. Kendrick has also had the experience of directing a non-profit child care program.

Virginia Housman
Virginia is our administrative assistant. Working in the field of early childhood education since 1995, Virginia is an experienced early childhood education professional. Throughout her career, she has gained experience teaching children from infancy to school age and has served as a center director for a child care program for over a decade. Additionally, she has worked in an administrative capacity where she supervised the operations of multiple child care centers.
Virginia holds an Associate's degree in early childhood education, a Bachelor's degree in sociology, and a Master's degree in early childhood education. Additionally, she has obtained certification in infant and toddler mental health, demonstrating her dedication and specialization in this area.
Outside of work, Virginia enjoys spending time with her family relaxing at home and actively volunteers at her local community school. She has been happily married to her husband for over 20 years and they have two amazing daughters.
